The role sits within the Content Design Team that sits under the Product and Design Team.
Despite this is not a role where you will actually be writing any content, you will have the responsibility for the day-to-day management of translation & localization projects across the organization. You will also have the responsibility to liaise with our translation vendor and ultimately be the bridge between the translation vendor and our organisation.
You will be working very closely with all our UX Writers, marketing copywriters and CMS Specialist.
Another core responsibility of your role will be the QA for all translations coming from our vendor to ensure quality in all that we put in front of our customers content-wise.
This will be a challenging and exciting role, requiring constant multi-tasking and the ability to complete all tasks in hand within set deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and managing the delivery of multiple translation projects.
• Accountable for project status and ensuring quality and service always meet expectations.
• Manage the relationship between our translation vendor and eDreams.
• Quality assurance checking of translations coming from our translator vendor.
• Identifying new strategies, approaches or workflows both internal and with the vendor for continued improvement.
• Liaise with the translation requesters around the business and assist them with their requests.
• Translation budget tracking

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in Translation/Localisation Management, with excellent project management skills.
• Degree educated, preferably with a discipline in languages, linguistics or translation.
• Must be Multi-lingual (Fluent in English plus fluency in one additional language – Spanish, Italian, German, French or Portuguese).
• Project management experience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment.
• Excellent financial awareness, a sharp eye for spend control.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proven communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Participant in team environment as well as ability to work independently.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
• Possess problem-solving skills.
