Senior Airline Relationship Manager – North America

Main Responsibility:
Building best airline relations with key US airlines following our mission and vision:
Vision:
- Become the highest evaluated OTA worldwide by the airlines
Mission:
- Create the best relationship with the airlines
- Negotiate the best contracts and exclusive content
- Create value for your partners and establish eDO’s value recognition
Responsabilities:
- Build OTA brand recognition for the group to build pro-active partnership with all airlines
- Position our high value customer closed user group of paid subscribers “PRIME” accordingly to airlines
- Negotiate the best commercial contracts
- Negotiate the best available fares in the market
- Ensure the best available booking and distribution conditions in the market
- Position eDreams ODIGEO with its global value/scope vs. local US share of business
- Creation of additional airline value proposals based on retail, business- and data Intelligence
- Frequent face to face and remote airline meetings to review performance, agree and implement performance measures
- Represent the company at relevant airline and industry events
- Build the best relationship with senior decision maker level
- Manage all airline relations topics
- Co-responsibility to build an ambitious budget
- Responsible to deliver on performance
Qualifications and Edcucation Requirements:
- Experience in the airline business, especially in sales and revenue management, large contact network in US aviation industry
- High level of sales & negotiation skills
- Relevant contact network in US carriers at decision level
- Profound knowledge of airline sales & distribution
Preferred Skills:
- Highly proactive, creative and analytical orientation. Hands-on manager with abilities to present and represent
- High degree of self-responsibility and ability to work independently according to targets
- Strong willingness to deliver and exceed on targets
- Ability to travel on a regular basis
- Knowledge and experience with the use of Google Suite and MS Office
- Experience with Amadeus GDS; MIDT, Salesforce, Micro Strategy, Power BI
- Strong knowledge on airline route networks, airline pricing and revenue management
- Analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team worker
