What you will do: 

The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As an Senior Air Content Analyst you will be in charge of:

  • Ensure Odigeo is offering the most competitive, and comprehensive GDS inventory to its customers by identifying and implementing actions needed to solve any lack of content issues in terms of markets, suppliers, carriers and routes. You will need to work with Data Science to define the algorithms and tools needed to permanently monitor our content. 
  • Work with the different teams to  monitor and optimise the booking, ancillaries and post-booking functionalities, tracking bookability, conversion, errors, and overall performance of  regular airlines
  • Tracking performance of commercial agreements with different partners, during the year to optimice commercial incentives
    Supporting negotiations with suppliers by modelling the outcomes of the different partner proposals and defining our needs and asks.
  • Analyse data to detect any change of trends in bookings/ errors as well as finding the root case by detecting patterns.
  • Cross collaboration with Revenue management (Pricing), Product Development and Competition Insights
  • Collaboration with Data Science for the implementation of machine-based learning tools and methodologies, working on continuous optimizations of the models,
  • Develop business cases for the new products and / or strategies that will be implemented,
  • Engage in the improvement of KPIs. Design dashboards for the Air Content team
  • Contribution in cross-departmental strategic initiatives.
  • Participate on Budgeting process evaluating expected revenues from airlines and different scenarios, depending on air content available and business decisions/strategies

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Economics, etc.),
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a role with strong analytical component
  • Strong analytical skills, fast-learner, with high attention to detail and focused on results and productivity,
  • Advanced SQL skills: strong experience on understanding and manipulating big amounts of data, transforming it to relevant metrics and analyses
  • Google DataStudio knowledge (or similar)
  • Advanced Office skills: Strong experience with analytical tools, ideally with the Google toolset (spreadsheets, google docs, etc)
  • A self-starter and team player, who also enjoys to have fun!,
  • Can do attitude and positive mindset,
  • Business Proficiency in English
