We are now looking for a talented semi-senior Project Manager to join our Finance Projects Team based in Barcelona, acting as interface between Finance Areas and: external Partners, Product Areas, IT Pods and other business areas within the company. He/she will be one of the responsible PMs for the new Middle Office and Back-Office (ERP) Implementation Project (SAP/HANA) and for the future Support, Maintenance and Evolutive (AMS) Service.
During the new MO-BO Project Execution Phase, will be accountable for managing some of the project workstreams, working closely with different Finance areas and key stakeholders, guaranteeing the deliverables are executed on time, budget and with the expected quality. He/she will act as a hands-on facilitator, with strong focus on delivery and project milestones achievement. Scope Mgmt, Risk Mgmt, and Reporting to “C” level will be part of his/her day to day work.
During the Project Maintenance Phase, he/she will be responsible to manage end-2-end AMS Service to:
– Ensure the achievement of service SLAs, within service KPIs.
– Partner Management
– Support/Evolutive prioritization tasks
– Detect, plan and execute service efficiencies
It is also expected that, as a semi-senior role, he/she can manage other medium-scale projects using appropriate project management skills. The typology of these projects will be initiatives launched by any business area of the company where Finance is one of the key stakeholders impacting Finance Ecosystem and ensuring the alignment between all impacted areas. This will allow the selected candidate to have visibility and involvement in a wide range of initiatives, as well as to collaborate with many different IT PODs, Business and Product areas within eDreams ODIGEO.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage some of the New MO-BO Project Workstreams: Manage and monitor the workstream calendar and execution. Scope, risk, communication and stakeholder management.
- Act as a focal point and interface between Finance and IT, Product or other business or functional areas, to understand, define and document the Finance requirements for the different business projects.
- Understand internal user requirements, coordinate and steer its execution within the MO-BO Project
- Trace and report project progress to the relevant stakeholders on a regular basis, highlighting issues or delays, risks and mitigation actions.
- Facilitate the participation of the Finance Key users, when appropriate, in the business acceptance testing for new deliverables and/or business new internal projects to be released, identifying and prioritizing bugs, in order to ensure that the business requirements have been met.
- Take ownership on the MO-BO future AMS Service, acting as an eDo Service Manager.
- Be fully aware of standardized tools and template requirements and be a ¨go to¨ person for feedback on the development of project/program management standards
- Manage several projects in parallel, reporting and escalating risks, impact and mitigation actions affecting any Finance process.
Candidate profile:
- Proven 5 years’ experience on project management within multinational environments for a mid to large size organization.
- Proven experience with SAP/HANA Project implementation
- Travel & accommodation industry knowledge
- Degree/professional qualification or equivalent work experience required.
- Proficient in the use of planning tools, development of cross functional plans
- Demonstrate influencing skills to achieve solutions and dealing with challenging stakeholder situations
- When faced with issues, apply lateral thinking and analyses available information to solve problems and engages with teams to resolve
- Ability to Influence partners and/or organizational leadership through effective listening and communication to accomplish program/project goals
- Ability to handle multiple high priority projects in a fast paced and rapidly growing environment.
- Use a variety of communications methods to deliver information meaningful to the audience
and project needs - Technical background for understanding the Finance Function
- Strong analytical skills and experience of producing business requirements documentation.
- Fluent Spanish & English is a must.
- Methodology: PMI, Kanban, Scrum. PM Certification is a Plus.
- Advanced user on MS Office tools
