We are building a world-class Online Marketing organization and we are seeking a highly motivated and driven Display&Video Advertising Technology Manager to join one of the most talented Marketing Measurement & Technology teams in Europe composed of Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Measurement & Technology Product Owners. Our main internal client is the App and Web Display Marketing team, which together with the Search Engine Marketing Team are among the top Google, Microsoft Bing, Apple, Facebook and Criteo customers by spend in Europe. This is a key role within eDreams Odigeo that will help shape the future of the business and the overall online marketing organization.
The Marketing Measurement & Technology team members are passionate about data, statistical models, automation, technology and innovation and love to work in a collaborative and agile environment. Currently we are looking to take things to the next level by adding this role where you will have the opportunity to drive how we track and measure the efficiency of our marketing and effectively scale the spend by 10X. This newly created position will report directly to the Head of Marketing Measurement & Technology and will primarily focus on App and Web Display marketing, but will have the opportunity to contribute across all our marketing channels. What you will do:
- Shape the data and measurement vision for full funnel online Display and Video advertising, including Paid Social, Retargeting, YouTube and App marketing – meaning (1) the use of already available data as well as the incorporation of any other potential data sources increasing the completeness and accuracy of our data and (2) the use of already available tools and other new tools and solutions that will improve how we track and measure through data and technical solutions discovery;
- Together with the Head of App & Display Team and the Head of Marketing Measurement & Technology, drive the strategy for campaign features (tracking, audiences etc.) and ensure that long term value generation is achieved through scaleable and consistent technical solutions;
- Together with our marketing partners (Google, Meta, Apple, TikTok, Microsoft, Criteo, etc.), map and understand capabilities for campaign management, optimization, data and measurement, and recommend technology and data-driven solutions to automate and scale our marketing operations;
- Recommend and design reporting and data accessibility solutions in order to help marketers perform accurate analysis and make the right decisions;
- Build and support the creation of business cases to support new initiatives as well as prioritizing the road map for the next set of ideas and enhancements.
How you will do it:
- Gather business requirements by talking to main stakeholders and coupling this with an excellent knowledge of the individual media capabilities (Facebook, Google etc) to build best-in-class setups and tools;
- Prioritize effectively to drive progress against our Objective and Key Results (OKRs);
- Collaborate in a fast paced, truly agile & lean environment that focuses on delivering value to our customers early and often;
- Manage a few selected projects at a time without losing sight of the ‘big picture’.
About you:
- Degree in a quantitative and/or technical field (Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.);
- Comprehensive relevant work experience in similar positions in digital marketing;
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of media tracking and product capabilities (Facebook, Google and other media providers);
- A basic understanding of statistical techniques for purposes of interpreting summary metrics/confidence intervals as well as hypothesis testing;
- Innovative, curious and positive mindset focused on making things happen;
- Excellent organizational skills and problem solving capabilities with keen attention to details;
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills, giving and receiving feedback;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Experience using SQL and/or R/Python is a plus – not mandatory;
- A self-starter and team player, who also likes to have fun!
