What you will do:
The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Translate and localize CX content (processes, procedures, policies, and FAQs) from English to french, ensuring linguistic and cultural relevance.
- Proofread and edit human- and AI-generated translations to maintain consistency in tone, terminology, and quality.
- Manage and update french content in our knowledge management systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
- Ensure consistency in terminology and brand tone by using and updating glossaries, translation memories, and style guides.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (CX, Product, Training, etc.) to support translation needs, project updates, and time-sensitive initiatives.
- Participate in quality reviews, content audits, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance CX content and workflows.
What you need to succeed:
Good to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- 6–12 months of professional translation experience, including internships. Experience proofreading or reviewing professional translations is a plus.
- Native-level French and fluent English (C2), with excellent command of grammar, spelling, and syntax in both languages.
- Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados, Lokalise, DeepL) and AI-assisted platforms.
- Solid understanding of the structure and tone of both Italian and English, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate translations.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail, clarity, and tone consistency.
- Knowledge of other European languages such as Portuguese or Dutch is a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office, and ideally some experience with content or knowledge management systems like Confluence, Zendesk, or SharePoint.
- Able to manage multiple translation projects with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively in multilingual environments.
- Acute attention to detail for maintaining high-quality output in structure, formatting, terminology, and tone.
- Comfortable working under pressure and maintaining professionalism under tight deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills and a proactive mindset—you’re flexible, motivated, and eager to learn.
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure accuracy and completeness in all work.
- A strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and delivering customer-centric content that builds trust and enhances experiences.
