We’re seeking a Competition Insight Intern to join our Pricing team in Barcelona (Hybrid) to add visibility as to how market conditions and competition strategies influence our KPI’s in terms of trading, market share, and price/content competitiveness.

 What you will do: 

 The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges, and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Competition Insight Intern in the Pricing tea,m you will be in charge of:

• Dealing with complex data sets to drive valuable insights
• Visualizing those conclusions on Excel or Looker Studio (Google Data Studio)
• Synthesizing insights on a PowerPoint and presenting to broader audiences 
• Complementing analysis with qualitative sources of data and/or manual investigation
• Liaising with stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs
• Alerting stakeholders to any changes in market conditions or competition strategies
• Sharing relevant information during trading or business meetings
• Ensuring data consumed by the team is accurate by following in-house processes, as well as proposing new quality checks based on your own thinking
• Build new reports and maintain current ones on Looker Studio (Google Data Studio) by using SQL coding

• Analytical mindset (problem solving, basic statistics, attention to detail)
• Knowledge of SQL and Looker Studio is desired but not mandatory
• English proficiency
• Proactive and autonomous
• Able to do an Internship Agreement with the University for at least 6 months (MUST)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.
• Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into software development workflows.
• AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to debug code, streamline development processes, and enhance productivity.
• Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities.
• Collaboration with AI: Experience or interest in collaborating closely with AI tools as “pair programmers” to complement traditional software development practices.
