Reporting to the Accommodation Head of Inventory Strategy, your main goals will be:
To grow the portfolio of accommodation product sourced from third party suppliers to secure and maintain a sustainable inventory that is competitive, attractive and relevant for the company strategy.
To this end, you will establish and develop long term partnerships with key accommodation wholesalers and aggregators.
You will be responsible for contracting and onboarding new partners, and optimize the sales with the assigned partners to ensure that the third party suppliers revenue targets are exceeded.
To succeed, you will bring a strong analytical acumen coupled with industry experience, market place knowledge and a high level of sales savvy to the role, with experience in managing strategic negotiations.
Job Responsibilities:
The Third Party Account Manager will work closely with the third party suppliers, as well as internal Connectivity, Product, Finance and Legal teams to:
- Achieve and exceed monthly and/or quarterly sales targets whilst meeting strategic objectives.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned third party supply partners by delivering superior consulting services and capturing marketing and sales opportunities.
- Develop close collaboration with the Connectivity and Product teams, in order to meet the third party supply performance objectives as well as ensuring Content optimization, rate and availability competitiveness on Odigeo sites.
- Secure promotional offers to support the brands’ merchandising and marketing efforts.
- Develop & drive sound action plans with internal and external partners based on insights from data analysis to optimize the third party supplier portfolio performance.
- Ensure fluent communication with assigned partners via email, calls, webinar, visits and trade show attendance.
- Effectively and professionally represent our brand and our platform
- Provide ongoing input to the rest of the third party provider team.
Candidate profile:
- University degree
- 2 – 3 years of experience in account management in the travel industry with strong networking
- High level of negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, rates and promotions and strong closing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills: Team player, empathic and relationship builderAction-oriented, results-focused and metrics-driven
- Analytical mindset and detail oriented
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
- Proven self-starter with ability to deliver on initiatives without constant supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Any other European languages are very welcome
- Good motivational skills and appetite for learning
- Ability to travel occasionally
