This Privacy Statement explains how eDreams International Network, S.L. (hereinafter, “eDreams ODIGEO” or “Company”) will collect and process your personal data in connection with your registration for and participation in our candidate events (hereinafter, “the Event”). We are committed to protecting your personal data and processing it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, “EU GDPR”).
Who is the data controller of your data? eDreams ODIGEO, a Spanish based company with tax ID number B-62443700, is the Data Controller of your personal data processed.
Who is the Data Protection Officer? We have a Data Protection Officer who watches over all processing carried out with respect for your privacy and the applicable regulations at all times.
What data do we collect?
We may collect the following details about you:
- Identification data (such as your name and surname);
- Contact details (such as your email address);
- Professional information (e.g. CV, current employer, job title, academic background, career interests);
- Event-related data (e.g. registration details, attendance confirmation); and
- Audio-visual data (e.g. photographs or video recordings taken during the Event). We’ll always let you know at the venue if filming is taking place.
We will only process personal data that is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes described below.
Why do we collect your personal data and which legal basis do we rely on?
- Event organisation & administration: To manage registration, coordinate attendance, communicate logistical information, and ensure the proper organisation of the Event. If the Event is hosted in our offices, we need to register the access to them in order to ensure the security of our premises, systems and the people attending them.
| Lawful basis. This data processing is mainly based on our Company’s legitimate interest to protect our premises, systems and people attending them. This is also supported by the legal requirement to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. |
- Photographs and recordings:
- Image and video capturing: photographs and videos will be taken during the event, which may be general shots or close-ups of the attendees, speakers and other important guests.
- Content publication with no commercial purpose: eDreams ODIGEO will use this data for internal communication purposes and which could be published and/or processed for the purpose of broadcasting the activities promoted by eDreams ODIGEO through physical formats, such as flyers and rollups, as well as online channels managed by eDreams ODIGEO, such as our social networks, our corporate website, eDreams ODIGEO’s career website or LinkedIn, Twitter and Medium.
| Lawful basis. The legal basis for this processing varies depending on the type of image: Accessory or casual images of general plans and/or ambient sound: eDreams ODIGEO has a legitimate interest in capturing, publicising and promoting its image and brand internally and externally, in order to give eDreams ODIGEO greater visibility and shape a public image of itself and of the people who relate to it in accordance with the values that govern its activity, through the dissemination of the events it organises or in which it participates. You can oppose the processing of your personal data as described in Section “How can you control the personal data you have given to us?” of this Notice. Close-up photography and/or direct recording of your voice: in this case, the processing is carried out on the legal basis of the consent you give by attending the event. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section “How can you control the personal data you have given to us?”, detailing the event in which you participated (e.g. location, date of the event, etc.) as well as if possible attaching an image of yourself in order to correctly identify you in the images and videos. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing activities based on such consent before its withdrawal. |
- Talent Pool: If consented, your data will be kept for our employment exchange, for the continuous search of vacancies, as well as the availability of eventual job openings that may arise.

Who will be the recipients of your personal data? Your personal data may be shared with:
- Our group companies: For internal management centralisation.
- Service providers: Third parties (e.g., recruitment systems, HR databases, legal services, photographers) will only access the data strictly necessary to perform their specific functions.
- Competent authorities: We may share information if legally obliged (e.g., court orders, external auditors, government agencies) or to protect and defend our rights, properties, or those of third parties.
- Others: With your explicit consent or after keeping you transparently informed, always within the limits of the law.
How do we protect your personal data?
- Security measures: While no online service can guarantee absolute security, we design our systems and devices with your security and privacy in mind. We work to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.
- International Data Transfers: The Company’s servers are located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), but sharing content on social networks may involve an international transfer of data to third countries whose data protection laws may not be as comprehensive as those of EEA countries. Disclosure of your data will be made, where appropriate, in accordance with applicable law and with appropriate safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection of privacy and fundamental rights of individuals.
- Criteria to determine the storage period: depending on the purpose above mentioned, we will keep your data accordingly:
- To ensure the security of the premises we kept the data for a maximum period of two (2) years.
- The photographs and recordings will be processed for two (2) years, or, pursuant to the provisions of the Organic Law 1/1982, of May 5, on the Civil Protection of the Right to Honour, Personal Privacy and Self-Image, until you withdraw your consent or object to the processing. Please, note that by withdrawing your consent it will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal. If you do not wish your image to be used, please inform a member of the organisation present at the event or to the cameraman.
- The data processed for managing your CV for future career opportunities will be kept and use your data for this purpose until you unsubscribe or for a maximum of two (2) years, or until you withdraw your consent.
- In case you register to our Careers Site, your data will be kept for a period of up to two (2) years for the purposes of continuous search of vacancies, as well as the availability of eventual job openings that may arise. Once this period has passed, we will contact you by email to request your consent to retain your personal data for a longer period.
How can you control the personal data you have given to us?
You can exercise at any time your data rights (access, rectification, portability, erasure, objection, restriction, consent withdrawal and objection to automated decision making) by sending an email to privacy.careers@edreamsodigeo.com, explaining which right you want to exercise. Note: For media-related requests, you may be asked to provide a photo of yourself to help us accurately identify and remove your image.
Also you can ask the Supervisory Authority on Data Protection (for Spain https://www.aepd.es/) or any other applicable supervisory authority if you wish.
