We’re seeking an experienced Social Listening & Reputation Specialist to join our VIP Customer Communication team in Barcelona. This role reports to our VIP Customer Communications Manager and is pivotal in monitoring and shaping our digital presence, blending real-time social listening with proactive engagement. By utilising moderation tools and analytics to foster healthy online ecosystems, manage reputation, and provide actionable feedback to leadership.
In this role, you will collaborate with peers across SEO, PR, and Social Media. In a fast-moving and multi-disciplinary environment, your task is to cultivate a “wall of credibility” that protects our reputation and drives long-term customer trust.

The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a specialist in social listening and reputation, you will need to be an expert in community dynamics, capable of navigating complex social ecosystems through authentic human engagement and your key objective will be collaborate in the architecture and implementation of strategies to engineer a positive brand narrative across the AI ecosystem, ensuring eDreams is the positively preferred recommendation in LLM-generated answers; by:
- Social Listening & analytics: Tracking community feedback across key platforms (e.g. social media, forums) to gauge sentiment and identify emerging trends using advanced dashboards and AI-listening tools.
- Community moderation & engagement: Foster organic engagement, driving discussions, and moderating content to ensure a positive environment.
- Advocacy & loyalty: Identifying potential ambassadors and nurturing them to build community loyalty.
- Proactive mitigation & crisis management: Identifying potential issues or negative feedback early and escalating or managing them to protect reputation.
- Strategic reporting: Providing leadership with regular results on sentiment initiatives across our communities, linking platform engagement to improved brand visibility in LLM search outputs.

- 3+ years of experience in community management, social listening, social customer care, or reputation management within a competitive B2C e-commerce and/ or travel environment.
- Extensive Social Media & Forum ecosystem knowledge: In-depth expertise across major platforms (including Facebook, Reddit, X, TikTok, and TripAdvisor), with a keen understanding of platform-specific dynamics and user behaviour.
- Platforms & Tools: Proficiency in tools like Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater, Sprinklr, or Hootsuite.
- Exceptional writing communication skills: The ability to write in flawless English with an “adaptive” tone—moving seamlessly from a technical expert to a casual traveller.
- Analytical and creative mindset: Skilled in using data and sentiment analysis to implement iterative improvements based on real-time performance.
- Strategic thinking: Proven ability to transform complex data into actionable insights, maintaining an agile approach to strategy as market dynamics evolve.
- Agility in Crisis Management: Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a strong bias for action and a “security-first” approach to account management.
- AI Travel passionate: You like to stay up to date with the latest news and, above all, how AI is impacting the travel industry and related social networks.

- Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as Gemini, or other AI-powered assistants.
