We are building a world-class Online Marketing organization and we are seeking a highly motivated and driven Senior Performance Marketing Analyst to join one of the biggest Online Marketing Technology teams in Europe composed of Analysts, Data Scientists and Data Engineers. Our main internal clients are the Search Engine Marketing (SEM), App Marketing and the Display & Video Marketing teams, which are among the top Google, Microsoft Bing, Facebook and Criteo customers by spend in Europe. This is a key role within eDreams Odigeo that will help shape the future of the business and the overall online marketing organization.
The Online Marketing Technology team members are passionate about data, statistical models, automation, technology and innovation and love to work in a collaborative and agile environment. Currently, we are looking to take things to the next level by adding this role where you will have the opportunity to crunch massive datasets, combine data from different sources and explore in order to design and implement advanced analysis. This newly created position will report directly to the Marketing Measurement & Technology Lead and will have the opportunity to contribute across all our marketing channels. What you will do:
- Locating, accessing and merging data from different data sources via R/Python/SQL in order to extract relevant data;
- Turn business questions into functional analysis and lead exploratory analyses to uncover insights and identify opportunities to improve key metrics such as revenue, profit, downloads;
- Contribute to a data-driven mindset by working along the business teams to optimize campaigns and improve efficiency;
- Assist colleagues from all parts of the organizations in gaining access to the right data and obtaining the right insights from it;
- Present and communicate insights to team members and other internal stakeholders;
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, agile environment that focuses on delivering value to our customers early and often;
- Contribute to the knowledge base and culture of the team.
About you:
- Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, etc.)
- Experience using SQL or other database languages;
- Knowledge of R/Python or similar programming languages;
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries (i.e. DataStudio, Shiny, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.);
- Comprehensive relevant work experience in similar positions in digital marketing;
- A basic understanding of statistical techniques for purposes of interpreting summary metrics/confidence intervals as well as hypothesis testing;
- Strong analytical skills, fluency in data analysis and data storytelling;
- Experience in data analytics within a business environment is desirable. In depth knowledge on either Search , App or Display Marketing is a plus;
- Excellent organizational skills and problem solving capabilities with keen attention to details;
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills, giving and receiving feedback;
- Think creatively about approaching analytical questions;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
